Everton F.C. History
Everton F.C. HistoryEverton Football Club were founded in 1878 and have the record for the most seasons spent in the English Premier League.
During the 1927-1928 seasone Dean scored a record 60 league goals for Everton as they went on to win the First Division. Everton enjoyed much success in the 60s and 80s.In 1985, they nearly secured an incredible treble. After winning the League and the Cup Winners' Cup, they lost out in the FA Cup Final to Manchester United.
In recent years, long term manager David Moyes secured top six Premier League finishes without ever really challenging for the title. The Scottish manager left in 2013 for an unsuccesful stint as Manchester United Manager.
