Oldham F.C. History

The club was founded in 1895 as Pine Ville. In 1899 they changed their name to Oldham Athletic.

They have been a member of the football league since 1907. Their best result is a second place in 1915 in Division one. They have reached the semi-finals three times in the FA Cup and one final in the Football League Cup.
